I haven't been online much lately. Real life happens, and sometimes it seriously sucks. This post has three points that I wanted to address. One ) I think Prism Design's latest releases Imani by Journey in Kenya and Blue Wave dress are super cute; 2) I received a note card about the creator of Donna Flora's cancer; and 3) Never assume you will see someone again.
Prism Design's Imani comes in other colors and it's really cute for the season. I would totally wear this in real life, but real life short girls often look much shorter in these types of pants. However, in SL, we can be anything or anyone. The last picture shows Darcy in Blue Wave. The combinations of blues on an abstract print are very pretty, but it comes in other colors if you feel like something different. The silhouette is seriously sexy too.
Okay...my second point...as many of you know, Squinternet Larnia, designer behind Donna Flora is ill, cancer can be devastating, so many people in the SL community are helping raise funds for her upcoming medical bills with the The Love Donna Fundraiser.
The actual fundraiser will start on July 25 I believe, but until then, you can stop by her store and do a little shopping. I've always loved her jewelry because they are bold statement pieces that add a bit of pop to any outfit. I'm wearing a former Cinema piece called Folia that you can find at her main store. Actually, Squinternet Larnia's real life predicament leads me to my third point. Never assume you will see someone again. Hopefully lots of love, prayers, and medical intervention will help Ms. Larnia, but I had my own dose of reality a couple of weeks ago as my family had to bury my super cute and sweet cousin.
His name was Dominic Sandoval and he was my aunt's baby. He lost his life on June 19 to unknown causes at the tender age of 28. I never thought about going to visit him because I thought he would always be around. With that said, try not to take family or loved ones for granted. It's hard. Unfortunately, we usually learn when it's much too late. It broke my heart and even though I know he's in a better place (I really believe in heaven), but the survivors such as my aunt, uncle, and his brother and my other cousin are caught up in the hellish nightmare of saying goodbye to a son and a brother.
Anyway, sorry I had to let my real life seep into SL, but I've been stuck lately, so thanks for listening.
