Fifty-five linden Friday often crosses over into Sunday, at least in my case. Regardless, weekends are made for shopping, and if you're on a budget, it's time to be resourceful and take advantage of all the sales. For example, LIV Glam has a nice variety of pieces available for Fi*Friday. The K Collection's Juliet is a sultry little ensemble, and it's only (you guessed it) 55L.

Egoisme's new sundresses are so elegant. They're available in a variety of colors and prints too. I love gray and pink combos, so I'm wearing Flower Cart Gray and Pink. Gray can be a moody color, but that's ok because I'm a moody person. If you're a moody girl like me, you know that our mood swings can confuse our significant others. We can be cold one moment...



...and hot the next. On a side note,  notice the Egoisme sundress's silhouette. It really accentuates a woman's curves.

Prism Designs adds color to our Second Life! Their newest mini dress Diane is sweet yet sexy. I'm wearing it in Pink on White, but there are other colors too. You don't have to pair it with leggings like I did, but I figured since I was jumping around in my picture, I better make sure I keep my dignity ;)

So wear Diane as a top or a mini dress. It also comes matching flats!



I don't know why, but I really like wearing flats in SL. I can't wear them in RL (because most ten year olds are taller than me) so I enjoy flats and sneakers in SL. You can wear the flats on there own or have a super cute look in a flash.

The weekend goes by way too fast. However, Monday doesn't have to be blah because Acid Lily Designer's Showcase offers us a new collection, from talented designers all across the grid, at the beginning of every week.  Leri Miles Design brings vibrant colors and fun prints to this week's showcase. I like that we can mix and match the tops and skirts. We can go with one shade or use contrasting colors. There's many colors to choose from, so you can mix up your favorite shades.



By the way, my pose is from Zodiac! I was going to wait to go to Zodiac, because I'm a Sagittarius, but that's awfully stubborn of me. Since most astrologists claim Taurus signs are stubborn, I figured that was a sign ;)

Have you gone to to see this week's Acid Lily showcase? This week's collection will be taken away, and a new one will take its place on Monday, so better get moving if you'd like to grab something. Speaking of grab...Co*Motion's Pose Set Better Off Red is something worth getting if you love to play with shadows and fairy tale settings.

The pose set has a variety of poses to chose from and it's two characters. I chose to just go traditional Little Red Riding Hood and that big bad wolf.



The prop has a light projector, so depending on your windlight setting, you can go dark and spooky or lighter fairy tale fun. I used the recommended Phototools No Light setting, so the projector is noticeable. This particular pose comes with the basket of goodies and light, or you can use your own props. Wonder what's in my basket? I have a feeling there's some sort of meat product due to the  growling behind me...



Ooh, it's  got me! Actually, the werewolf avi, along with other types, comes in our default SL inventory. It's a mean sucker!



But, I was able to tame the beast. Check out Co*Motion's prop Better off Red at Acid Lily. It's only 70L. After the weekend, you can find it at the Co*Motion main store, but it will be back to its regular price.

Happy hump day! Acid Lily's newest showcase opened Monday, so you still have plenty of chances to find cute clothes, accessories, shapes, and skins before the weekend. DuCk or SwAn Pedra skin is a really sweet and youthful face.



The Pedra shape comes skin, but it's no modify and I like to have a little control over my shapes. However, it fit quite nicely over the Sophia Shape, from a former Acid Lily round, and that shape is modifiable.



Kaithleen's trousers are also available in other colors as well. In fact, Phoebe's Hearts Necklace will go with any color you choose because it has a color menu. All items are at this week's Acid Lily showcase.

dream analysis

Have you ever woken from a dream and wished it were real? Sometimes our real life seeps into our dreams, but I often wonder if our dreams have the potential to slip into our real life. Depending on the dream, it could be a wonderful experience or a deathtrap. If it's good we try to hold on to that feeling.



And when we wake from a good dream, we miss that feeling. Perhaps we cry. We either cry because we were scared or we wanted our dream to be true. However, it's good to have a friend to comfort us.

it's a beautiful life

Don't you love the beginning of a new relationship where it seems as though everything is perfect? I do. I used to love it so much sometimes I didn't mind when one relationship ended so I could experience that same up in the clouds feeling. I didn't mind that much that is. However, now that I've been with my real life boyfriend for almost two years, I can't imagine life without him. He makes my life beautiful. Tristan Voorhees has captured that emotion in one of his couple pose sets "Beautiful Life."

The K Collection at LIV Glam is always quirky and loads of fun because of her twist with prints. I love my real life pup, and he's a different type of cute (reindeer chihuahua), but the fashionista pup on the Maya outfit is just as cute in his own way.



It's funny because I never was a dog person in real life. I loved cats, but after my real life kitty died, I couldn't get another. Instead, my Milo kitty cat lives on in Second Life.  Don't get me wrong though because I would still rock a shirt in my rl and my sl that had my former cat Milo in his big furry glory. Regardless of what type of pet you own...animals are inherently good. They love us unconditionally, so show your love for animals and pick up the Maya outfit k?

Have you gone to Pose Fair yet? Well, come on Let's Go! Ok that's actually the name of the pose I'm featuring today, but seriously,  if you haven't visited Pose Fair yet, make sure to head on over especially if you're looking for friend or group poses. Elephant Poses' friendly "Let's Go," is an exclusive Pose Fair item. It came in handy because my friend Sunshine and I visited New York the other day, and I seriously had to carry her away.

 Don't worry it's only a chalk drawing so no real vandalism occurred, but Sunshine wanted to finish her drawing. Actually, I love this sim because it gives rez rights, so it's easy to use your own prop or pose balls and have a cool background to boot. Speaking of boots, our boots (and skin) are part of Acid Lily's newest showcase.  Everything at Acid Lily is 70L and under, so you're sure to find a good deal. By the way, did you know Egoisme also has a gorgeous women's wear? There's Haute Couture, classic, and casual that would suit all occasions. My whole outfit comes from there minus the shoes and clutch, so it's definitely worth a stop over.

The Aphrodite skin fatpack gives you the best of both worlds, with so many makeups to choose from, and I was going to show you each makeup, but that's half the fun in getting a new skin. What I really like about the fat pack is it offers you a variety of brow bases. That's something I look for in a fat pack because while most days I'm a brunette, there are some days I love to run around as a blonde.
